Advent is a big deal in Norway, so we wanted to bring a bit of that tradition to the international community as well.

Between the first and 24th of December, we’re sharing daily fun surprises and exclusive offers on from small and local businesses around Norway—all created specifically for the Unlock Norway community.

They’re being shared daily via our Instagram stories, but for those who want to spend less time on social media this year, we made the interactive calendar below. The window will automatically unlock at midnight Norwegian time on the specific date. All the details you need are on each graphic. If you have questions, contact the business directly. Here’s how it works (FAQs)

  • Nope! Some offers are in-person in a specific city in Norway, and some are online.

  • If the code or offer isn’t working, contact the business directly. If a link is not working on this calendar, contact us at info@unlocknorway.com. We’ll try to fix it right away, but please be patient. This is a voluntary initiative.

  • All stories are saved in a highlight on our Instagram profile throughout January 2026, and you can come back to this webpage and click on the open days to browse past offers.

  • Advent is a big deal in Norway! People count the days with everything from special candles to chocolate calendars to scratch-off lotto cards. This year, we wanted to bring a little of that tradition to the Unlock Norway community.

  • We have not done this before. Last year, we gave away 30 Oslo Passes over 3 Sundays at different venues around Oslo, and this year we’re levelling up the game! We have not planned a year in advance yet, so we’ll see.

  • Nope! These aren’t paid promotions. We haven’t asked the businesses for anything except to give you the best perks they possibly can. Enjoy!

  • We’ve already finalized the Advent calendar for 2025, but sent us an email at info@unlocknorway.com and maybe we can squeeze you in if there are any cancellations!
