On Tuesday, 08 April, we’re getting private access to the Kon-Tiki Museum in Oslo for a truly special English-language tour led by museum director Liv Heyerdahl, who is also Thor Heyerdahl's granddaughter!

Heyerdahl is a household name in Norway and world-famous for proving that ancient civilizations could have made long sea voyages between continents using only traditional materials. His daring expeditions (including crossing the Pacific on the Kon-Tiki raft and the Atlantic on the Ra II) captured global attention and reshaped how we understand migration, cultural exchange, and human ingenuity.

We'll walk through the museum in our exclusive group as Liv shares personal insights into Thor Heyerdahl’s life and legacy: from his epic Kon-Tiki and Ra II sea voyages to his journey with his wife Liv to Fatu Hiva, and his later expeditions to Easter Island and Iraq.
